AI/ML Engineer

About the role
Build, train, and deploy predictive models for asset maintenance, cleaning optimisation, and anomaly detection within the JackTools platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop ML pipelines using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and AWS SageMaker
- Design predictive maintenance and cleaning algorithms based on IoT sensor telemetry
- Fine-tune models for accuracy, interpretability, and explainability
- Collaborate with backend and data engineers on API integration
- Maintain model retraining cycles and evaluate AI model drift over time
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline (Bachelor's minimum, Master's preferred)
- Commercial ML model development experience, ideally with IoT/time-series data
- Hands-on expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker
- Understanding of MLOps lifecycle, model explainability frameworks (SHAP, LIME)
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production cloud environments
